Accessibility Statement
Effective September 26, 2026
We want every owner, resident, and board member to be able to use HOA by Kai'Ros, including people who use assistive technology.
1. Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
2. What we do
- Design the resident portal for phones first, with large touch targets and readable text.
- Support keyboard navigation and screen readers on core tasks such as paying, submitting requests, and reading documents.
- Let associations translate announcements into Spanish.
- Include an in-app guide that walks users through tasks step by step.
3. Known limits
Documents uploaded by associations, such as scanned PDFs, may not be accessible. Associations can ask us for help providing accessible versions. Some charts and older admin screens are still being improved.
4. Third-party parts
Payment forms are provided by Stripe and follow Stripe's accessibility practices.
5. Getting help
If something is hard to use, email support@genesishoa.app and tell us the page and what happened. We will help you complete the task another way while we fix it.
6. Response time
We aim to reply to accessibility requests within 2 business days.
7. Ongoing work
We review accessibility as we release new features and fix problems that users report.
8. Updates
This statement is reviewed at least once a year.
